This package offers the opportunity to witness the breathtaking sunrise atop Mt. Rinjani and enjoy stunning views of Segara Anak Lake upon reaching the Senaru Crater Rim by 6:00 am. This trek is ideal for experienced hikers or individuals in excellent physical condition.
Visitors typically reach Pemenang port from Bali or the Gili Islands, though some may arrive via Lombok airport. No matter where you come from, transportation to our homestay in Senaru is included in the package. Upon arrival, you will receive a warm welcome at our homestay, along with a delightful dinner. Enjoy the stunning views from our outdoor dining area and watch the playful monkeys nearby. Additionally, you can opt for a leisurely 20-minute stroll to Tiu Kelep waterfall, conveniently accessible from the trail right in front of our homestay.
Start your day with an early breakfast before embarking on a 10-minute drive to the national park entrance. The trek officially begins from the Senaru entrance, located at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level.
The initial stretch entails a one-hour trek covering 1 km, ascending an additional 210 meters to reach post 1. Enjoy a brief break at post 1 for snacks.
Moving forward, the journey from post 1 to post 2 spans approximately 2 hours, covering a distance of 2.7 km with an ascent of 590 meters. Lunch will be served by the porter at post 2.
After lunch, the expedition continues to post 3, covering about 2.4 km in roughly 2 hours, ascending an elevation of 500 meters from post 2. Take a short break at post 3 before resuming the trek for approximately 2 hours towards Pelawangan Senaru, the designated camping area. This segment, covering 1.8 km, constitutes the most challenging stretch on the first day, with an elevation gain of 641 meters.
The total walking time on the first day, from the entrance to the campsite, is around 7-8 hours, covering a distance of 7.9 km with an elevation gain of 1,941 meters (from 700 to 2,641 meters above sea level)
Enjoy breakfast while savoring the sunrise against the picturesque backdrop of Segara Anak Lake. Embark on a scenic descent to Senaru village, a journey spanning 4-5 hours.
Expect to reach Senaru village around 1:00 PM. Upon arrival, take the time to prepare your belongings before transferring to your chosen next destination—whether it be Senggigi, Mataram, or Bangsal Harbor.
